The Montecristo Linea 1935 Maltes is one of three cigar formats of the newly introduced Línea 1935. The insert is chosen so that the Havanas appear more powerful. The tobaccos come from the growing regions of San Juan y Martínez and San Luis in Pinar del Río. The plantations are said to be among the best in the region.

The Maltés starts with strong and woody aromas. In the middle part, earthy tones such as toast and coffee take over, before the cigar unfolds its full fire and the associated spice in the last third.
